My late female layed eggs on november 20th. They look nice and plump and you can see some blood on the inside of the eggs. I am wondering about baby care and what to do when I am expecting them to hatch. I am worried I wont be around when some hatch, what should I do? Any advice would be...
So my male panther decided to stop eating today. He is always a excellent eater, anywhere from 7-12 crickets a day. I have read chameleons go on hunger "strikes" Is this possible? Yesterday he ate 4 crickets, which seem odd to me. Today he has no interest in eating. He is drinking very well, I...
My millie passed away yesterday. She was seemingly regaining her strengh and starting to eat again after egg laying. But when I went to check on her yesterday she was gone. I wish I knew what happened, I am shocked and very upset. She was my princess, I have 36 of her eggs though. I am hoping...
My female just layed her eggs, since then she hasn't been eating. It has been 21/2 days. I'm worried, is this normal? Should she go to the vet?
Thanks!
My millie just laid eggs, I havent counted them but what it look like is 10 to 15, she mated so I am asuming they are fertile. I am new to owning a chameleon let alone taking care of babies/eggs. I have a couple questions, What do I do with the eggs? Do i leave them there/ do they need a...
My female has been in her "receptive colors" and yesterday she decided to climb into the other cage of the 2 chams I have been watching (a male of course) and before I knew it the male was on top of her. I left it happen because I didn't really know what else to do. After I took her out and...
I am currently taking care of my boyfriend's brothers chameleons and I noticed today that the female eyes are sunken in, I have two chameleon (female veiled and male panther) I know that it is not good, but I am unsure what needs to be done to help her. I just brought them into my house...
My veiled has not had any problems, she constantly eats and drinks but recently I noticed her poop looks like her ficus leaves, does she have a digestion problem or is that normal for chameleons?
My first question is about my female, she is about 4-5monthes old and I am curious to when become sexually mature, and when she will need to lay eggs?
Also the next question is about my male, he is a picky eater. On average he eats about 4 to 5 crickets a day. He is about 2 1/2 3 months old...
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, I think a female, no spurs but he/she does show signs of color like a male, roughly 2 21/2 monthes. About 1 month maybe longer
Handling - Once a week if that, I researched that handling causes to much stress?
Feeding - Crickets, I gave her...
My veiled chameleon constantly eats. I hand feed her, everytime I offer her something she eats it. I often feed her twice a day. Somedays she eats 20+ crickets. Is there a limit to how much she should eat, or is this normal?
Is this a bruise or just a spot on her? I never seen her fall, and I barely handle her, any ideas what this may be?

I asked this question on a different forum, What is best to use a UVB tube light or a Powersun UVB? I was told locally the powersun is the best but I was just told on here that the Powersun is to strong, does anyone have advice?
