Th first picture is of her a few days after i got her, and the second is her right now, (she was mad because i found her secret hiding spot and took her out of it). When i took her to the vet 4 months ago she weighed 20 grams, and then 2 months after she weighed 22 grams. She eats and drinks...
She is at least 13 months old. I got her in October 2013 and they said she was 3 months old. But she's at least 13 months since I've had her that long. My vet said she probably wont ever breed and hopefully never habe eggs because she is so small they could kill her.
Have any of you guys ever had full grown chams that are just smaller than what they are supposed to be?
I always knew my female veiled was small but i took her to the vet for her annual check up and we did xrays and all that fun stuff and shes perfectly healthy shes just small.
My Boyfriend and I are currently looking to add another beautiful Cham to the family, i Currently have a female veiled 1.5 years old, and a sub species Fischer about 1 year old. My boyfriend and I are looking into getting a panther chameleon preferable male and occasionally handled (so hes...
Thank you,
I read it and learned a few new things, my lady cham that i have now wont ever be able to have little ones because she is half a small as all other chams so i go out of my way to try and make sure she wont ever bear any eggs but i have it set up for her in case she somehow has...
I know that he is dehydrated, i got him back in august and he never really ate more than 2 crickets every other day, his tongue doesnt do the sticky catchy thing that its supposed to do. Ive tried to hand feed him but he shows no interest.
I took him to the vet and he is on LOTS of medicine (a...
I am currently think about getting a male and female pair to breed, i have 2 chams now but one is a veiled and the other a Fischers so they cant breed. I am thinking about getting 2 panthers, but open to any types of chams.
I wanted to know if anyone could walk me through the steps of...
Hey!
So i bought this beautiful cham at a reptile convention in August. They said it was a Fischers but the more research i did the more i noticed that those guys are very rare. I can hardly find any information on them as is.
I wanted to know if you guys could help me figure out if he is a...
I have a small climbing down thing (actually an old rack) and i just leave their cage open and try not to look at them and within 10 minutes my chams are out of their cages, i also have a climbing habitat on my wall with a lot of leaves for them to hide so that is probably why they always leave...
The only thing i see (and only because my vet pointed it out with my Fischers) watch the sticky mucus inside his mouth if a lot of it is produced he is getting dehydrated. Other than that he is beautiful!
Go through the classifieds on here. I saw a few chams for sale in Canada and one was a Jackson. I just clicked on Forums and scrolled down to Classifieds and then to Chameleon sales in Canada
Best of luck! Jacksons are awesome :)
With my female i just grab her out of her cage usually with a towel since she likes to hiss at me sometimes, but i just grab a few worms or crickets and stick them in a cup as a treat (she usually hunts for her food) and then she LOVES me since i give her Hornworms as treats if she lets me...
My cham still has his tongue bit it doesnt do the tongue job very well. So he has learned to deal with it. He runs up to the crickets kind of like a leopard gecko and bites it. Or like he did yesterday he missed with his tongue (as usual) and the cricket jumped on his head and he just GRABBED...
