I love the shower thing that's awesome!!!! I think Chams have a thing for reading other mean animals!!!! My girl flies to her food. From the top of her cage! But she's just a fatty. :)
I just wanted to make some small talk about our lovely Chams. What are some weird things some of your chams do?
My girl- loves to tease our other pets. She climbs all over my other Chams cage. She loves to sit next to the snakes cage and loves to flirt with our leopard gecko. They never bother...
I found mine inside an old prom dress. I looked in it 3 times before I found my old jackson. I had to pay down every article of clothing. And took apart every dresser and cabinet. It took hours to find him. If she's anything like mine she will turn up somewhere you looked 800 times.
He said to open up the container and allow them to get more air for a few hours and see what happens. He said this helped him in the past. my only problem is that no only are they fast.. but they can also climb up smooth surfaces. and i HATE cockroaches.
I am debating whether to just wait...
I wash everything with vinegar and water. I dont think thats it. They were shipped from MI to FL in 2 days. It's anywhere from 70 to 80degrees in my room. They were in the shade in my room away from everything. I've contacted him to see of maybe it's something I did. Or maybe something just went...
So i just got a shipment of Pallid roaches, because Dubais are not legal, and all of them are dead within 24 hours of me receiving them.
I was wondering if anyone knew why they died?
I had them in a Tupperware container with holes at the top so they could breathe, they had cardboard in them...
I stopped feeding supers. I dont wanna risk it, plus they like hornworms much more. Personally i think mine enjoy hunting for their food. I even make them hunt for their worms, i just scatter some around on cardboard in my room, and then they go wild! Its adorable!
Hey guys I was wondering if feeding chams too many worms was bad? I currently give mine a even ration between crickets (10), hornworms (2), and reptiworms (6) per feeding, And more crickets if either seem hungry.
But i was just wondering if feeding them this many worms was bad?
Crickets get...
Alright, so she has had 2 egg laying bins for over a week now, she is very dark and cranky and seems to be more active (which is funny because she climbs on everything!). I have been feeding her less crickets (about 4 a day) and some extra reptiworms (4 a day) and hornworms (2 a day) to keep her...
I love jacksons.. they are so adorable!!!! I love the little one at the bottom with his mouth open he is just so cute!! Thanks for sharing these awesome pictures!
I meant 1.5 years. I believe mine is gravid now.
I had a different thread asking if she looked gravid. And it's been about 2 weeks and she looks like a small balloon and she's much heavier now. She only weighed 22grams but I believe she weighs much more now. I bought a scale but it's not precise...
I have a male (4 months) and a female(1.5 months). She's abnormally small but eats like a big girl. She usually eats 6 crickets and the worms listed. What should I limit it to? Just a smaller amount?
Thanks! I do all the other stuff it was just nice to get more bugs. My other male who recently passed didn't eat any and my female veiled can only eat so much. So it's nice to have 2 very hungry chams that love every bug and worm!!
