With that cage it sounds like you could easily keep multiple pygmy chams in there, or a Rudis Chameleon...they do fine in a smaller cage and the temp is lower than the veileds and panthers.
you can use a reptarium liner for the bottom of your cage to catch the water drops, it fits perfectly around the outside, but it is sort of hard to clean without spilling
honestly most chams will never be 100% comfortable being handled, or present around people
When you reach in does he get darker or hiss?
does he show the same umcomfortable signs once he is out of his cage?
Also since he is so small its not good to handle him to much. Chams get stressed...
haha last week i found large fake hanging plants for 25 cents each, a nice wash and they worked perfectly and saved me 20 bucks haha

how old are the vields? my zoology teacher used to keep his male veiled in a similar sized cage, and the females had a little jungle section in the room. They were not in a cage, but he made sure they were secure in that area, and got thier needs met. This only would only work if the females are...

my female vieled used to be extremely aggresive constantly inside and out of her cage, but recently once she is out of her cage i have been laying worms out for her, and she seemed to calm down right away
now she isn't aggresive at all once she is out of her cage, but its still a war to get...

yes i have one of the forum members that i know coming from yorba linda and hes going to take my cham to doctor greek because he lives right by his office.
it also keeps lifting its tail straight up and spreaidng her legs as if she is trying to go to the bathroom, but nothing is coming out.
Also can any one explain why she wont open her eyes, i didnt think that was a symptom of dehydration. She is moving around blindly because she wont open her eyes.
we just gave her some pedialite, and after about a minute she looked like she was trying to puke some out...two drops came out of her mouth
but she does look a little better today...getting some of her color back
