WC animals.. breeding records
So how long in captivity before one can be sure your female clutch is sired by your male? Is there a specific clean out timeline? Number of clutches? or the first clutch always a unknown sire? I believe some species can retain sperm.. is there a general...
Seems like some intrest :)
Well same deal with me, I delt with WC at work, so nervous also.. and sort of a first foray into incubating or trying to breed reptiles...
I am a bit of a pedigree nut, while I wait may see about getting a database started? anyone doing something like that...
I would try frut flys.. also make sure the crickets you are getting are very small, no bigger than the space between the eyes.. if not a bit smaller.. does not matter other than us reading what they are called.. so are they "really small?"
However can someone more experienced with hatching...
Well its a silly youtube video. Look at this one?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AviIobZI55s.. ok I do find it kind of clever and funny, but also know it is stress..
As I am a dog trainer there are a TON of videos on you tube hell even the comments say oh how cute, but NOT.. the animal is...
Still waiting on my Trio.. So talk about cart before the horse, situation :)
however, as this is going to be a trial possible breeding project I like to find out who has Bearded pigmys and if there is any trading of offspring going on?
I ask as I choose pigmys as They are charming little...
yeh still no dice..
Sigh.. Not only did I get a oh we process orders Monday to ship Tuesday, this was after I paid for my order on a sat.. Then oh not till next Monday.. Nothing, again I e mailed.. hey when.. got the oh temps not good.. next week borderline.. I agree per his policies.. yet...
I am curious.. place a order online, pay via pay pal.. at what point does some things become a concern??
as pay pal only has a limited buyer protection.. just curious what communications or not are kind of standard?
heck may make a good sticky.. or more of a expand on what is already on...
I was at the herp vet last week, they had the "care guides" the specifically "did" mention mice.. give them on occasion..
no mention of no D3, sooo... another conflict and this time not just at a "petstore"
I think as a rare boost, post laying, or perhaps a rare treat.. but...
OK I feed raw but also on some days a dehydrated premix food to my dogs,
So looking at this, seems like may make a decent dry gutload - perhaps not super cheap but I have it.. To be honest, its would not be anywhere as expensive say as bug burger... or perhaps used with Bug burger...
As not everyone has access or info on what reptile vets may be good or heck experienced with Chameleons, thought may be good to make a sticky on what to expect on a CHAMELEON vet visit? Both Normal healthy check over, to when ill examples?
I ask as it may be helpful to have a idea of kind...
I have had two, was super easy to take the cup off and mount in a screen cage by making a small hole,
BOTH units had issues, One moisture builds up inside the cover, causes all sort of problems.. Bascically the timer both frequency or duration fail to work over time, now using mine on a...
yogurt is animal protein. "Milk" Milk products biologically do cause a acid state and can leach calcium out.. when you drink milk, you loose more calcium into the urine then is gained by the Calcium content..
Not so sure how much a factor this really is on Chams, or the tiny amount in...
I saw the same add, I was not on the lookout for one of these guys but looking for some used cages and supplies..
Don't know much about him/her but the adds have been up, even seen hatchlings.. perhaps same person??
Craigs list if FUSTRATING, I have tried on several occasions to...
as I am between reptile vets at the moment.. did a fecal, and need to worm (first positive I had)
how do vets normally dispense panacure? powder? liquid? then how do they normally give it, force fed or inside a feeder? just curious..
I don't need dose, form.. but like some feedback as to...
I have to admit coming from other animals, find the lack of "stud service" funny.. yes I know proper infectious disease and stress is a factor.. but the lack of the ability to use or get the outside service of a male odd.. makes adding unrelated bloodlines hard or only "If" you own it a option...
I was thinking about doing similar, do the hydroballs and then place a bunch of filter pads and with that not need the screen.. I had a box of old tetra filter pads.. but.. overall the cost would be twice.... normally without a oh found some on clearance and a staff discount.. and had left...
