roaches
I don't know about cheap spots for the phoenix worms but some really small nymph dubia might do the trick... or even some tiny lobster roaches.
roaches
I just use a rubbermade container with the heatpad taped to the side. The heatpads, from my experience don't get hot enough to melt the plastic or overheat. I've been using this method a long time and haven't had any problems, only have had benefits from this. I do use glass tanks...
stickbugs
I would hate to tell ya teh guy i bought them from considering i paid for them and they never came in yet... I paid for them over two weeks ago and they still are not here. I'd like to try them though. I'm sure theyre dead by now if the guy ever sent them.
Roaches
I'll start on-topic with the roach questions...
-Are dubias the best feeder roach? Would anyone recommend keeping two types of roaches? I think every different roach is good in their own way when it comes to feeders, just depends on what you're feeding. I def. don't think dubia are...

Bugs
I'm working with 6 species of roaches right now. The turnaround on them is great and is pretty fast. I also hatch and raise silkworms, mantids, and am working on mealworms and superworms right now. I feed 5 beardies with big appetities, 3 chameleons, some leos, and a crested gecko off of...
roaches
Your roaches can die off from not having enough humidity as well. It causes an incomplete molt and that is a big killer with roaches. Let's put it this way, if your roaches aren't breeding it's either not enough humidty or not enough heat.... or too much of both! Lower the temp, raise...
ebugco.com
I order from ebugco.com, 1000 crix costs me $16 shipped next day. Never have had a problem with their crix and have always arrived on time. If it's your first time ordereing, tell them that and they'll give you 1000 crickets for free ontop of what you order.
handling
I kind of just think that it depends on the cham. I never handle my female because she won't tolerate it at all. My ambilobe panther cham is shy but tolerates being handled, and my male veiled actually seems to enjoy being handled now and again. He's a very curious little guy. You'll...
lighting
I'm on a 12 and 12 as well. At least until the chams get nestled into their little nook to sleep in. I put them to bed early if they've had a big day haha.
Smell
I keep 6 different species in my pet room and there is no odor... I'll have 1,000 crickets in there and you about fall over when you hit the door. Part of the reason crickets smell so bad is that they die off pretty easily and no invertibrate smells pretty when it's dead.
