    Bump on my veileds lip

tumor if it's a tumor it would be good to know, and i wouldn't say it's money wasted, you have everything you need for a new veiled if he passes. I know what you mean tho. If it's an abcess it'll probably feel alot better to him if he gets teh crap out of it

    We don't get along

hm.. My female veiled is pretty much the same way, but what i've done in the past was put a t-shirt over my hand when handling her. if she can't see my hand she doesn't feel threatened. keep in mind though, in nature chameleons are pretty much dependant on their ability to diffuse into the...

    Bump on my veileds lip

abcess I def. think that's an abcess. Chameleons, well reptiles in general are very good at localizing infections in their body. If you feel on the bump does it feel like something is inside of it, kind of pimply like? What they'll do at the vet's office is they'll cut a small football shaped...

    A very invasive picture ...

ha I've noticed with my veiled he has certain don't mess with me spots in his cage. When he's at the highest point of the cage he adamantly refuses to be handled so I leave him alone. However, when he's in the lower parts of the tree he will actually crawl onto my hand to be handled for a bit...

    Candles/Insence near Chameleon??

fresh air I probably wouldn't do that. You gotta imagine that a 2 month old chameleon's lungs are about 1/1000 of our lung. I think smoke may affect a tiny chameleon in the same way it would affect an infant child. It could lead to respiratory infections and or just respiratory problems. Try...

    Close eyes like sharks?

chams sharks and alot of lizards will close their eyes when feeding to prevent eye injury from struggling prey as said above. Yes it also true that frogs and toads will use their eyes to push food down their throat when swallowing as well.

Alternative feeders for 2mo old male veiled?

Roaches Yah i just let them free roach, but you can cupfeed them too, either technique works Free roaming is more appealing to the chams though. Make sure if you buy phoenix worms to prick each one with a needle before your cham eats them. They can be hard for chams to digest.
