    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

I never said I was going to risk it, I was just correcting your post so other members aren't misinformed.

    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

Money Tree isn't toxic, there just isn't enough information to determine weather it's safe or not to use in a chameleons enclosure.

    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

The branches look tiny, do they support the weight of your chameleon? And it looks pretty dense too, does he get in the plants or just go around it? Also, I saw a braided money tree that looks like the same thing?

Analog vs Digital (Thermometer/Hygrometer) which do u prefer?

I feel digital are much more accurate, and adjust faster than analog. I use a combo of digital and analog in my enclosure.

    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

Any pictures of what a small ficus would look like, maybe I am not looking for the right thing or overlooking it somehow. I went to Lowes today, no luck but they had some larger schleffera which I might go back and get, the branches looked more sturdy.

    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

Do you need a grow light to keep them alive? The only ficus I can find at Home Depot is 6' tall and costs over $200. :(

    Oh crap...

You'll appreciate her making you go when you're older, as much as you hate it now. If she's going to embarass you, don't let her, it's all your reaction to her and if you play along you won't look as funny. :D

I am going to rent Dead Island before I buy it, see how it lives up. As for Brink, I got the game on the day it released, and was really disappointed in the gameplay. The style was new and innovative, which is a plus, but I got really bored really fast with the game. I traded it in 2 weeks...

    Wimpy Schleffera Branches?

So my cham seems to be too heavy for the branches on the schleffera plant now, I have tons of vines going every direction in his enclosure but he seems to prefer climbing around on the branches. When he get's on a branch, it droops down and I am worried it will just snap off and he'll fall...

Any forum post without factual evidence should be treated as a personal opinion, I don't think it's a problem for new members to provide advice, it should just be taken with a grain of salt. The issue is some new members might not be internet savvy, and not understand if the poster is someone...

    It's Happening Again.

I wish it was happening here, it's been over 105+ the last month, with spurts of rain in the evening that make the mornings humid. We are in an "excessive heat warning" of all things, when really this heat is normal.

Help! Veiled cham eating leaves of money tree

There is nothing online that shows a money tree is toxic, but the information I could find was really limited. Removing it is the safe bet.

    zero voc acrylic latex waterproof?

I run drippers, all the water lands in my plant base though I made a funnel from clear plastic to funnel all the water into the soil.

    Soft White

Yes that is true, but soft whites work fine in chameleon enclosures as a heat source.

I am getting Gears of War 3 at midnight, can't wait! I only play MW2 right now since I am broke and it's the only game I own. I am getting MW3, BF3, Skyrim, and a few others this fall if I can afford them all. My GT is AZJ0SH. Add me if you feel like it. :D I also run a video game news site...

    Too Much UV???

I would put one away, and keep it for when the first one goes out. You don't need two, one is just fine.

    UV - Plastic Light Cover

To keep it on topic, this is why you should remove the plastic: http://www.coleparmer.com/techinfo/techinfo.asp?htmlfile=Zeus_UV_Properties.htm&ID=834 Basically, if the plastic is clear it will allow SOME light to pass through, but not all of it. So you should remove the plastic cover.

    UV - Plastic Light Cover

I think you're confused, if you saw my other posts I am actually against the use of CFL's in the home, I was just stating the CORRECT information about CFL's and their use in enclosures, and how they can be used with Chameleons just fine. I am trying to stop the spread of misinformation. You...
