Hi, im not sure if uve seen the whole thread as this is becoming a long one! message #19 in this thread shows I've already upgraded to a digital combined thermometer/hygrometer. And post #39 shows an xray, she's definitely carrying lots of eggs.

Skin shed complete. Still eating etc, actually seems rather hungry today. But still no eggs. This seems never ending!! At what stage do I have to seriously consider surgery?

Woken up today to find still no eggs and now she's shedding! As if my poor girl isn't stressed enough 😒 Again though, she has eaten and drank small amounts and has pooped some time in the last 24hrs.

If she stops again like she did before, then I will definitely take her back in. Just very aware that will result in surgery, which is a huge risk and unlikely she'll survive. I've done everything i can to help her so really hoping patience and privacy see her through. I don't want to loose her

Ours hasn't been mated, so we don't technically know when this started. But she was fat and digging end June, stopped digging 1st week of July, then a month later she's huge, black and digging again! She's eating small amounts, drinking, eyes are still proud. Just a waiting game I hope.

Still no eggs!!! Seriously, how ling can this go on? She's now pitch black and sounding more time half way down her viv rather than at the top. Pretty sure there has been more digging too. Only disturbing once a day for feeding. But it's so hard not to check on her more often!

She pooped!!! After 2 weeks of no feaces whatsoever, this is a good sign. It's gross and defo not healthy, but is huge, so fingers crossed its a sign of things starting to move in her tummy. Let's hope these eggs come out over the weekend

This was how she looked when I fed her. She has taken a locust, 2 worms and water from me this morning. (That's the only time I've interrupted her, total privacy for her otherwise)

Hi, when you say straight away, do you mean like an hour, 12 hrs, 24hrs? She's very dark this morning but showing no signs of digging yet. She had the jab 15.5hrs ago (and counting!!)

Does anyone know how long oxytocin takes to work? (If its going to...) I feel sick with worry about her right now. She hasn't even been mated. This seems so unfair!

The results are in. Egg bound with liver issues and a calcium deficiency as a result of not eating/drinking. She's had the oxytocin jab and is on a complete do not disturb notice apart from trying to feed until the weekend. If no joy by Monday then it's surgery 😔

Little update, still no eggs :-( She's put on 2g in 10 days and is looking rather chubby now. She's booked in to see a reptile specialist tomorrow. Fingers crossed she comes through this🤞

Wow she's gone so black! Bless her. I'm so worried a out girl. I'm scared that if I make too many changes while she's gravid, it will stress her out. But if I don't try things, I won't know what works for her. Really stressing me out that I can't seem to get this right for her
