95-100f seems pretty hot for basking spot. I use 38 watt house bulbs to get a temp of 85-88f. I had used a 100 watt then a 60 but still to hot so went smaller
im in california. been a heat wave for almost a month. my room temp has been averaging 80-95f. on the hotter days i dont use the basking lights for the chams. my basking lights are 85-88f. room hotter then the 38 watt bulbs i use.
if i had smaller cages and alot less foilage i might go with 5.0 plus u would think that after a few months the uvb put out from it would be like a new 5.0(not sure though).
the blue light from it is alot different was suprised the first time i hook up a exo terra.
