    I meant on the low side of the spectrum for the basking area, 85-90. This is the warmest spot. The coolest spot in the enclosure is 75.4

    Its just a 40W Household I had and thought Id try, obviously not doing the job. The distance is about 6-8 inches, Im too lazy to go out to my truck and get my tape measure:rolleyes: Ill run out and get a Basking bulb after I eat breakfast

    I started setting up my lighting tests this morning, I don't think I have the adequate bulb for basking as the temps are holding on the low side at 85.4, I guess I will get a stronger bulb in a few and test again.

    Could be, Ive only been around the Reptile Community about 4 years but I am on many Snake Forums, Frog Forums, BD Forums to include my own Reptile Forum, Im also a Gamer with my own gaming forum but I love the Metal Gear Solid Game Series. Thanks for your input and advice on this huge help !

    The Panther I'm getting is already container trained but I have thought of that for the ones that escape, I thought about plexi-glass along the bottom. Also, I may place mesh around the sides...still thinking. Suggestions?

    I was too lazy to look for a lighting thread....sorry but im honest LOL Huge help, thanks A grow bulb and UVB? Just curious, why both, a UVB will do the same right? Thanks tons, great help
