I have nothing fancy but it does a great job, I have a Fuji Finepix HD SL1000 with a 50X Zoom that I bought from QVC. Works perfect for what I use it for.
That's awesome, I met you guys and bought 3 Amazon Milk Frogs from ya up here in Pa last year, I love you guys. My Mom is in Raliegh, I should come visit her and you guys both.
When hand feeding a Chameleon, is there a technique to it?
1.Should you use tongs?
2.Bare fingers and how far away from the animal should you hold the food?
3.Hold it higher than the animals head or lower than the animals head?:)
Polly seems to be doing well and happy, I have not seen her eat but that's not to say she isn't. She just finished her first shed for me and she did great. She is active, meaning she walks around and occupies every part of her enclosure and seems to love sleeping towards the bottom at night...
I have a 5 month old Veiled that sleeps on the bottom as well but comes up top to walk around during the day then right back to the bottom at night, in fact shes there right now.
So let me ask this as I am new to Veiled Charms, I've had Polly for just shy of 3 weeks, she has shed once for me and seems happy, she has what I feel is a great enclosure but, I haven't seen her eat and she doesn't hang up top like I hear most Veils do, she will come out and walk around up top...
I have only had my Veiled for a week and I have yet to see her eat, I assume its because she's still stressed from the new home plus 3 days after I got her she went into shed, I have tried to hand feed her and she wont take it.
It is indeed and ty, she seems happy, well as happy as she can be with her present state.:)
Im misting as much as I can to help her, she seems to like being misted herself as I have read most don't like it.
Since your post I began googling this and I have read that Its no so uncommon as some of us had thought, I have to tell you I would be in a panicked state !
Please keep us posted to his update after his vet visit.
GOOD LUCK !
