i use a branch or vine to get her out. I put my hand on one side of the cage so she moves away from there... n put the branch on the other side.. eventually she'll walk onto that, then i just carry her to her free range spot while i clean her cage out.

are you talking about the cricket food that comes in little green packets that i've seen at some places? They look like individual snack sized packets.... i was reluctant to buy it cause it looked so small for the price.
