I have a spline tool here somewere, the guy at DIY smeed to be talking about a diffrent type of tool for resplining then the usual one, and yes it does look like a pizza cutter lol.

Well the cage shipped out today.....I hope the smell will disapate if I am not up to replacing the spline! I am sure he said at first that just leaving it outside a few days would take care of a lot of the smell. He also said resplining was easier with a "spline fish", which I have never heard...

The spline is the plastic that holds in the screen in the groove right? I resplined the lid of an exo terra a long time ago due to rust, and even putting in regular window screen was a huge PITA I dont want to think of how hard putting in metal screen would be, I ruined the original metal screen...

How would you go about resplineing them?

I guess I will have to buy a couple and see how they come then:)....
