Hello, Ill be getting a hibiscus soon for my enclosure. I was told that they don't grown very well inside so I was wondering if there was a way for me to keep it alive inside my enclosure. Thank you for the help.
Hello,
I recently got dubai and super worms and was wondering if they can climb up the side of the cage? I tried using a feeder cup but my cham did not like it at all, so Im free roaming the crickets in his cage again and was wondering if I could do the same for the dubais and worms. Thank you.
From the pictures you posted ZeeBee looks like a panther chameleon to me. Veiled chameleons have a nice casque on their head. If it is a panther there is a different way to sex them, you look at the base of their tale near their "rump" and if there is a bulge it is a male, even if it is the...
Hello, I was just wondering if crix can climb up duct tape. I'm making a feeder cup and I want to just tape duct tape to the back for the crix to climb up on.
I believe butter worms are good for getting some weight on your cham, and I've read that meal worms aren't the best because of the shell they have, but if that's all he will eat right now he should be fine. Everything else your doing seems to be fine just make sure your basking spot isn't to hot...
I hope I've been helpful. Tomorow hopefully people with more experience will chime in. Oh and here's a link so you can make sure your plants are safe. I almost bought a harmful plant for my cham.

The crickets should be dusted with calcium without d3 dailie, and every Sunday you should switch off with calcium that had d3 and multivitamin (Sunday 1 - d3, Sunday 2 - multivitamin, Sunday 3 - d3, Sunday 4 - multivitamin)
And how many crickets does he eat a day? He should be getting around 10...

You should get this cage if you can, he will be able to use this cage the rest of his life, so you won't have to buy anymore.
Also with him getting to like you. I have had my cham for about a month and today is the first day I put my hand in his cage without him hissing at me, it takes patience, but with enough work the most grumpy of chams can become baby's that will willingly walk on your hand.
I don't know if he is just stretched out but he looks a bit thin to me.

Thank you for the help. How fast do the hornworms grow? I might keep them for when he gets a bit bigger or I can put a smaller one in his cage and see if he'll eat it.
I just got some horn worms today and noticed they are a bit big. my cham is about 3-4 months old and the horn worms are like 1-2". I was wondering if chams can still eat the big worms because they are easy to chew or if i should not feed them to my cham.
Thank you,
Zach
As long as your room doesn't go below 60 over night your cham will be fine. Don't get a night heat lamp because they need complete darkness, if your still worried about it being to cold in the screen cage you can get a space heater. From all I've read everyone always says to get cham in screen...
