i do beleive there is more d3 in it than superpig, if we are talking miniscule ammounts im sure its fine, but i would stay there, the result on chameleons i do not think will be much due to the nature of their color, how it changes rather than just lightening and darkening like crested geckos...
even though people can go to specific peoples forums, i think it nice to get an idea of how many people from your country there are just by looking at the poll results, like with canadians, i only know you and a couple others, but this will help me get an idea of how many, i know there is at...
lol, ur lucky they werent crickets, if that happened to me with dubias, i wouldnt even be able to contact exterminators or anything since they are illeagal because of the risk of escape. :)
ive used this alot with crested geckos and the pigmentation difference is very small, i really dont think the difference is worth the cost and POSSIBLE risk. I have no idea if the ingredients can be harmful to chams but either way it isnt worth it, with crested geckos, i use it for a couple...
I dont think its a prolapse, ive had a prolapse situation once and it was very pink, it could be that its fecal matter that wont come out, i would try and keep it moist though, in some cases they can still poo when they are impacted, You should still see a vet though, just in case, they will...
I saw a thread much like this on the gecko forum i spend time at, and it developed a very interesting discussion and even became a sticky thread. I figured it could be beneficial for people to see where people are from.
I just realized there is no poll option on this forum, but im going to edit...
lol, thats nothing, 2 years ago, i was 15 and i bought 2000 crickets, largest ammount i had ever gotten, they were all pinheads, and i had 4 fruit fly cultures, they were in a large card board box, as they were from the same comapany. I pulled them out opened them and went to go get their...
Although they can be comfortable in the 60s at night, i see no problem with having a moonlight bulb, i think it just gives them the option to have a warmer night space, i live my night bulb on in the summer when its in the mid 70s, better to keep them comfortable
you do have more consistent heat, but we have 2 extremes, it goes from winter to summer, vice versa very quickly, its 65 degrees today. We have CONSISTENT 110 degrees throughout july, very few days going below that. In august we get abit of a break it will go down to 90 but it still is...
you would be extremely surprised at the temp in DOWNTOWN toronto, we have a little barrier there, our winters never get within 10 degrees of how cold it is just kilomters outside the city, and the summers get so extreme, we have had days where it gets up to 45 celcius (about 115 fahrenheit) and...
dont use lettuce for hydration, if you want just hydration use water crystals, if you want to add some substance and nutrients you definately should use ORGANIC oranges. They are very good for hydration, lots of water, and have a very good calcium to phosphorus ratio. I put the emphasis on...
HOLY S**T thats alot! Congrats, all your posts are very helpful and as hoj said you have probably improved about 9000 chameleons lives with those posts ;)
Edit: why arent i senior mem yet lol, deku has like 0.01 posts per day
its good he passed them, you shouldnt have substrate as if they are missing small micronutrients they will often taste it. Janns blog has good info, read up on it
