    Tongue hanging out

Hi guys, I went to check on my veiled a minute ago and his tongue was hanging out. Not all the way, just the big sticky part. I panicked and sprayed his face to get him lubricated and after a sec or 2 he retracted it. He looks normal in every other way and seems ok again now. Does this...

is my little man looking ok??

He's looking good!! I'm also in England and paid over £100 for a screen enclosure but we don't have great weather over here and it didn't hold enough heat. So now I'm going to use it for a garden enclosure, if we ever get a summer that is.

Veiled likes to go for walks

That's good - I was trying to think of something better to use than the pink blankets. Neo is a boy so pink obviously cramps his style. Thanks for the idea, I'm going to shop online for exo terra vine now :0)

Veiled likes to go for walks

Well Neo has a big enough home but he obviously still wants to roam because he comes out by himself rather than me dragging him unwilling, so I'm much happier with that. Are Jacksons generally shyer than veileds, or is it just his personality? Try opening the cage and giving him some sort of...

Veiled likes to go for walks

I obviously don't mean the type of walks dogs go on. But I have started opening his cage every evening, tying a blanket around his branch, leading it out of his home and tying the other end to my curtains and onto the windowsill. He's worked out straight away that whenever he sees this blanket...

Yea I agree with you all, it's a wonderful feeling. I was very lucky as mine started feeding from my hand the very first day I got him home. But that was just with worms, I can't touch crickets as they are evil looking. For some reason I like Locusts, they look better and friendlier. I'm sure I...
