Here's Dante. First picture is like 3 days after I got him and the last is a from about a week or two ago. My friend took some with his DSLR the other day but he's really bad about getting pictures to me.
Mine grows fairly fast more out than up about a 1/4" and a few new leaves every week. I use a 18" florescent grow bulb in addition to everything else and it seems to keep my ficus healthy and growing. It also gets quite a bit of water from the dripper system and mistings. I use ficus...
They need to be able to climb into their own laying bin on their own and they need to be left alone as much as possible. Usually a round container like a small-medium trash can is best. What are you using as a laying substrate, make it's damp enough to hold a tunnel. Have they gone off food?
For misting the best cheap option is a $10-$20 pesticide sprayer found at HD or Lowes. I'm already tired of the pump mister and am gonna buy a misting system next paycheck, still can't make up my mind mistking or herpmist....:)
What plants are you planning on using? A glass enclosure really...
Very good to hear that they're taking good care of it so many pet stores are clueless. I'll be out there next weekend to visit my gf so I'll have to check in on it. That's the on that's down on University a little bit north of the loop right?
If you can put the fan <1' above the cage and about 2'-3' away from the cage to where the air passing over top will draw air up and out, it'll providing circulation without blowing directly into the cage. A piece of pvc roughly the same diameter of the fan attached to the front will help direct...

How to ask for help
Here is some recommended information to include when asking for help in the health clinic forum. By providing this information, you will receive more accurate and beneficial responses. It might not be necessary to answer all these questions, but the more you provide...
Since you are going to buy a juvi male veiled you could start him out in a bigger cage than normal if he can easily find his food i.e. cup feeding. If you are planning on eventually getting a female for him then get a ~3'x2'x1.5' to house him for now. Then when he is ready for a bigger cage...
Keeping a healthy cham means the more feeders the better. Crickets really aren't that bad, you just have to stay on top of keeping their container clean. I haven't tried roaches yet, my sister would flip-out, but when I move to Phoenix in March you can be sure I'm picking up 100 adult dubias...
The only way you'd be able to make any kind of profit would be if you had all of your feeders breeding on their own. You'd be surprised how fast babies can make work of crickets, or so I've heard:)
Juli they sure are gorgeous. I woke up this morning to Dante showing off his colors, all...
I know the roll of chicken wire I bought had imperfections of what looked to be the coating on the wiring that had to potential to be sharp. If you are still keen on using the chicken wire I'd at least go over every inch and file any of the little "imperfections" off. If he is on it regularly...
Great looking cage. My only concern would be the chicken wire possibly cutting up his feet if he decided to roam upside down on the top. I too had chicken wire as my cage's top until I got to thinking about how abrasive that wire is. Again the cage looks fantastic.
I would be worried about using a compact florescent or any other high powered "grow" type lighting for fear of eye problems. Just get a dual bulb florescent fixture for your uvb and through a plant bulb in the other side. I use a 24" repti-sun 5.0 uvb and 18" florescent plant bulb. My three...
