My Panther cham shoots his tongue to catch water sometimes. Just wondering if its common because i'm used to reading about them drinking off of the leaves as opposed to this method. Thanks.

My bluebar drinks with me watching so im sure thats enough privacy. As long as they feel theyre not being watched if yours is a more timid cham. Even if you don't see it happening, if they have the white urate, it is.

Real plants, longer and more frequent mistings, keep cage away from windows or drafts, install a fogger if humidity still doesnt come up.

turns out i have the toxic one. chameleon is completely healthy. is it toxic to eat or drink water off leaves if anyone has knowledge on topic

There are a few types of driptrays available for sale at various websites. From there u can drill a hole and add tubing to leak into a bucket.

Hey i had a question if someone could give a little insight. I live in manhattan and crossed a tropical plant store. I was curious if they would have something more exotic to keep in the cage as opposed to the umbrella plant that wouldnt be toxic for my chameleon.

is it possible that maybe a pygmy chameleon may be better suited or is that not a possibility?

I'm thinking about purchasing a chameleon but i go to college and i might need to travel with it every month or so, i guess i'm just wondering if this is going to be to much stress for it or would it be okay? any information would be helpful. Thankyouu
