the 10% may be a better choice as it will allow the UVB to penetrate through the mesh better, also not sure when you may have to but you say you have a female try look up what females need also about there egg bound situation :)

guess it depends on your Cage/Viv/Ter I think, like mine for example I have a exo terro one for now while my chameleon is a baby, which has Mesh at the top and I had a Arcadia 5% UVB tube light, but then I had people helping me out and advising me to upgrade to a 12% due to the UVB not going...

Also just an Update due to me having the mesh at the top I've been told that this can prevent UVB of some what so I've changed my 5% UVB 15W Tube light to a 12% UVB D3 tube light instead, so it allows more UVB to get to my chameleon better encase the mesh is stopping to much from the 5% tube...
