My Mr Goggles recently had a prolapse, there's a long story to this but basically the vets that treated this didn't do such a good job nor give me correct information about it, I changed vets, go proper medication for him and its swollen, he takes 3 different medicines daily and...
1st thing that comes straight to my head is 1 MBD and 2nd I think you should take him to the vets asap to get a full health check to make sure, hope he gets better soon though :)

UK here as well, I'm currently using an exo terra also but my guys 3 months old :p but when he gets older i will be upgrading to a mesh cage.
Ermm with choice of glass or mesh personally id go with mesh for the ventilation and allowing more airflow but this wil make the humidity drop more but...
I'm currently using an Exo Terra cage for my 3 month old, then when he grows up I'll be upgrading to a screen cage.
But at the min for more air flow I have a humidifier/fogger that I assume when going off will create more airflow and also he's in the same room as me so I just sometimes...
