I live in the UK and would never put my chameleon in a glass tank as i am aware of the dangers. I use my central heating and the basking the light to maintain my chameleons temps. So what if my gas bill is high. Its my chameleon that matters. :)
This story is so funny. I would have been terrified im scared of crickets and am practically trembling feeding my cham ( silly i know just scared of crawly things ) :)
Hi I wonder if anyone can help me. Iv had my young veiled chameleon a month now and he is shedding for the second timesice iv had him. He has turned a dark brown colour and is usually bright green. I took him out his cage to check him over as I was worried and he slowly turned back to green but...
Like mesh as in made out of metal? Sounds interesting. My cham seems happy enough. He`hasnt given me any problems as of yet (fingers crossed). Stuff really is hard to get over here, were not known as "rip off britain" for nothing lol
Piglet by mesh housing do you mean a flexarium? I live in Liverpool and the breeder i got my cham from provided me with one plus all the equipment and advice and I could ever need to look after him so if you look around Im sure you will find everything you need over here :)
That link to brads site is great. Living in the UK and having a cham can be quite hard. Its so cold in winter we need to have the heating on all the time which can dry up the air which means extra misting!!! My little fella seems to be taking it all in his stride but i will defo keep checking...
