    Age/Sex of baby veiled?

I agree - I see the spur too. It's very young - maybe a month old at most.

Water. Some people use pedialyte but I have found water to be be useful. Long mistings, a shower, give him/her time to drink.

how do you choose which photo?

Jupiter, I agree with everything you said, including the shout-out to Duchamp. My hubby and I have had this "discussion" several times. He chooses to be a purist and will only do minimal post processing such as cropping whereas I have been experimenting since the dark ages (film). I've tried...

    elephant eared chameleon

As ferret said, care is very different than a veiled. Melleri need more space, more water, more food. They are nearly always wild caught and can have parasites and other issues. Even ones that have been in captivity for a while tend to have issues as they are rarely properly cared for.

    Picky Chameleon

That's a really tiny cage for a large adult male veiled .... You could try offering him something else - silkworms, dubia, flies - they tend to love things that fly. It's better for them to eat more than one or two feeders only.

    Life with chameleons

Thanks everyone! We are pretty fortunate, they are very tolerant of each other and never get bothered by other chameleons. I always offered favorite foods when they meet other chameleons or new people, get photographed, or go places so they associate everything with yummy treats and actually...
