i think it should be fine for now it gets a good amount of light down there and does stay moist but well just have to find out how it goes in the future :)
Hey thanks for the reply jen now i dont have to worry about it harming my cham.
And i got the moss on a stone floor tile at the bottom of my chams cage hopefully that works.
Idk what it is but my cham loooooooves basking hes been in his basking spot for hours and sometimes hell even climb up on his cage and hang right next to the light... and when i put food in for him its like he walks a few steps towards them to eat but then he loses interest and confused about...
Mines fell off my shoulders 5 times trying to run away when i was trying to grab him and put him away one week and hes been fine (I dont put him there anymore btw lol) so i think you could be good as long as it seems to be acting normal.
This stuffs got me pretty concerned(on my way to home depot and pet store now.) thanks for the help everyone i think imma watch the vid and get more updated for awhile lol

species: triceros/jackson chameleon.
age im not sure but if you look at the pic he seem about 3-4 months old.
ive had him about 2-3 weeks.
I let him loose for 30 minutes a day to roam around my room or outside.
ive been feeding him crickets and mealworms when he wanted to...
yep i got him a few weeks ago and he was doing fine then, eating plenty, occasionally trying to escape and what not, idk if its his habitat that makes him mad i got him in a streched shallow 50 gal fish tank with a screen at the top and alot of branches in it and some fake leafs is that the problem?
so ive been trying to feed this lil guy but he hasnt been wanting anything i give em. no mealworms, no crickets and thats pretty much all i got for him but still it doesnt make sense idk if hes depressed or just goin on a major food strike but hes been losing alot of his weight lately, someone...
