I'm sure this is basic knowledge but would a mother Jackson's eat her babies if she came across them. It seems like most live bearing fish do and some frogs do. Is there parental instincts even though they don't lay eggs. It's obvious egg laying chams would just lay and forget about it but what...

That's what happened with my folks:) I asked for a chameleon and did so much research 3 or 4 years ago and I was rejected until recently(December) they went to pick up dog food and saw one in one of the tanks at a pet store. So long story short I got my veiled "gandalf" 3 days before Christmas...
I finally decided to fill my empty cage with this little guy. He is settling in nicely and has quite the appetite. Thanks for all the help with my cage and deciding on a species:)
From what I understand supplementing is pretty much the same but just less often, correct? So maybe twice a week calcium witout d3 and every 5 to 6 weeks calcium with d3 and than a multivitamin every few months.
