Ferret is Right!! Depends on the type of Crickets you get, after the Virus last year many breeders went to the Black or Jamaican Crickets. Most of the Pet stores buy from a Large company that does just browns and they are at most of the ARK shows. I have both types of crickets in the same type...
We use Ficus, Pothos, and Schefflera plus I have baby collard greens is some of the Veiled cages they love to eat them and it is their favorite vegetable so I just planted small plants for them to eat and it holds water, I change them when necessary.

my older panther does that a lot my wife got a saline solution recommended by our vet and uses a dropper once in a while for him but he still does it once in a while. He is the only one of 5 that does but the vet said he was good just gets irritated kinda like some people do and other don’t.
I think it is a battle of wills until they learn you won’t hurt them. If you are scared they will use it and also stress every time you go near the cage which is not good.
