Thanks for your responses. Yes, he looks a red bar but his dad and grandfather (see pics pg 2) are blue bars and the breeder told me he was a blue bar. That is why I am confused, do you think his bars will stay red or change to blue? And maybe his Mom was a red bar so he's a cross? I don't know...

I have some plastic coated wire that is small enough to go thru the mesh and I attach Apollo's vines to his cage that way. I just make sure the wire ends are outside his cage so he can't poke himself. No holes needed in the screen or the walls. You can find the wire at a nurshery, Home Depot or...

Thanks, I think so too. Does anyone know the answer to the above question about his colors? I'm just baffled as I was told he is a blue bar but he shows red bars. Maybe as he is just a year his colors will continue to evolve? And he's a little guy too but I was told he will double in size...

This is Apollo's grandfather WC This is Apollo's dad hatched here in USA So my question is if Apollo is a blue bar, how come he has red bars? Doesn't having red bars make him a redbar. (or maybe just a mixed up kid):p

That's so funny, glad he didn't fall. Apollo stretches his front legs between 2 vines but his little tail is always curled up tight. I love that sleeping tail.:)
