Yeah i need go find a nice tree branch outside so i can make some nice horizontal perches for him. And i have some holes in the bottom with a bucket under it to catch the water!

how old is she? and for a veiled i would have 75-80 ambient and 85-100 basking depending on age. As for hydration how do her urates look? if yellow/orange id offer her long misting sessions.

is the white crusty? if so probably getting rid of extra salt and thats ok :D as for nighttime use a home heater to keep the room up towards 68 at night since they like a drop in temp at night

he was absorbing more heat since he was outside. Black doesn't always mean angry! Most chameleons will brighten up or "Fire up" as most people say. every cham once outside will turn dark to absorb more heat!
