its not that deep. but i could put in screen to cover it. its less than a centimeter deep. how deep can it be be fore they drown?

so i have a waterfall but i also mist and use ice cubes to water the plants, i know many of you worry that Leonard will get sick (which i cant thank you enough for caring about my little guy). so i have proof that just because some of us have waterfalls doesn't mean that they will always drink...

you could try the ice cube trick as well.... my little boy loves this. i mainly use this to water his plants but put ice cubes over his plants the water will drip and he will have an extra water source and you will have another way to water your plants :D hope that helps

try to keep an screen cage it helps with their lungs

the only thing i can thing of is the base of the planter. Leonard had a problem with the sides being to slick and he would fall so i some hemp looking vines and created some texture for him so he wouldn't fall. i used a glue gun and the hemp looking vine you get at the pet store.
