I wont need to catch the drippings cuz im putting the cage on a big planter box so i can have all kinds of safe plants in there. The orchid will go in a small orchid pot in the cage above the soil though, cuz they need bark and little water. ;-) i also have light fixtures. just need a new bulb...

Picked these up today. Great starting supplies. Got a ficus too. Anybody ever find out if orchids are safe? I was concerned that their pollen might cause problems with eyes or respratory system
