It was hot as hell today and i saw bubba splashing in his water so i knew it was time for a bath. i took him out on the fence above the garden hose and let him have it! He looks mad as hell. But the ruffling and flailing is just to make sure he gets fully splashed. He loves it.

iv read post on this website about a wild population of vields in san diego. I think it gets too cold in san fran. Although there are some famous wild parrots of telegraph hill. They are awesome. I recomend everybody watch that documentary.

There arent any wild ones that i know of in orange so i figured it must have been an escaped pet. And yes he is in pretty good condition. good body wieght no skars no signs of illness. which makes me think somebody was taking good care of him recently. Which made me think well he is healthy so...

funny story.... a few years ago i had the same thing happen. i didnt even have an incubator at the time but i put the eggs in a deli cup with some moist vermiculite underneath a regular 60 watt bulb and hoped for the best. a few weeks later had a lil leo running around in the deli cup.:)...

yeah karen had them cup feeding very early and he is totally tame. does not stress at all when handled. he seems to know the step-up command just as well as my birds:eek:

This is Pascel. My future ball and chain named him after the cham in the movie tangled. He is a male vield produced by photo princess. His sire is logan and dam is oozle. Hes only about 3.5 months old right now. Maybe photo princess can correct me? I only have the camera on my phone but...
