As far as what I feed the insects...I feed the Dubai roaches dried mango, and other fruits, and as for the horn worms they just eat the chow that comes with them. He's not a fan of crickets, wax worms, and super/meal worms. When I do buy crickets I feed them arugula, fruit, and a flucker's cube...
I do calcium with d3 every two weeks by Reptical, and I alternate between Reptivate (has Vitamin A), and Herbtivite (No Vitamin A) once every 3 weeks. He recently had a problem with his eye so I upped his Vit-A intake and it went away, but he then he ended up having Gular edema. You might not be...
How can I remedy Gular edema and A hunger strike for my Jackson's chameleon. He is 7 months, going onto 8, and I have fed him a variety of feeders like crickets, dubias, horn worms, wax worms, and super worms, but lately he hasn't been interested in anything. My last option is silk worms, but...
My temps range from 70-80 degrees, and my humidity ranges from 60-80. I give him calcium once a week, Herbitivite every two weeks, only because I heard from Jdog1027 that Jacksons have complications with supplementation so I don't want to over do it. My terrarium might be getting too wet...his...
So I've had my Jackson Chameleon (Juvenile 4-5 months) since June 2012 and he hasn't had a full body shed yet. He has only shed on his tail so far and I was just wondering if I should take any precautions, or if I am doing anything wrong that could disrupt his shed cycle. Please help me out...
So my question is pretty obvious lol...Where is the best place to order feeder bugs for my jackson Chameleon? (Preferably silk worms, horn worms, and dubia roaches). My chameleon has gotten bored of crickets, super worms, and meal worms and I am trying to find other nutritional feeders for him...
So I think I fed my Jackson Chameleon a roach that might be a little too big. He's a juvenile (4-5months) and he's had his food stuck in his mouth for about 10 minutes already. Is there a safe procedure or any precautions that I should take if I need to pull it out of his mouth??
So I came home from work today and found part of Momo's tail dry and white. I sprayed him down right away and turned on his mister and it still remained white. I have no idea what is going on. Does anybody know happened?
Nope, no redness or any signs of irritation. It doesn't look like it would pop if a vet tried draining it and there are no fluids under the skin like a blister.
