Yeah, you can grow plants with LEDs. Corals can grow under them and I read they're using them in the 'medicinal' plant world. The UVB is still coming from a fluorescent bulb that's combined in the fixture, hence the led/UVB hybrid fixture.

Hey Jann, I still keep my little Sweat Pea in my garage. The temps in my garage have dropped a little but not much. It still eats mostly everyday so I doubt the minor temp change thus far has affected it much.
