When to use 10.0 or 5.0 UVB

I disagree with the comment that 10.0 can kill your cham. I definately would like to hear from our two vets to see if they counter what my very experienced herp vet tells me.

When to use 10.0 or 5.0 UVB

My herp vet recommends 10.0 because of the UVB output. If you have a meter you can see that a 10 puts out about 140 new where a 5.0 is about 50 new. The kicker is, if you measure outside light it goes up to about 450. I use them and my chamyfamy is happier.

    Gravid female - Help please

If she even would eat it, pinky mice have more protein then you should be offering a cham, especially a gravid female. She will eat if she needs to. You don't have to try to tempt her into eating. I think you didn't receive good information.

    Roaches are bad for you

I agree with you Carol. This is my feeder store and I am in there every week. The people are knowledgeable, caring and keep cages and facility clean. I support them highly and I await the autopsy results. I'm sure it will be posted all over the news, especially down here in S. Fla.

How do I create drainage in a small Reptibreeze cage?

Have you put in a pot with a plant? That should drain the water by making the plastic bottom sag.

    Can you candles chameleon eggs?

I don't ever give up on eggs. I had some verrucosus that took 14 months and 16 months to hatch. They are fine and perfect fellas and I never gave up.
