Group photoshoot day! I'm never doing this again. Keeping track of three bp's is almost impossible! And none of them would cooperate. They all were more interested in exploring than sitting nicely. I thought by waking them up they'd sit nice, but no such luck.
Trying...
I DEMAND PICTURES!!! He's got to be stunning.
I'm sooo happy my little guy isn't like that. How old was your female when you got her, and was she captive bred?
Thanks everyone!
He's a bit more of a handful than the balls. If I don't but him too much and let him go where he wants he's a sweetie. If I try to touch his head, move him too much, move too fast, or turn him over he gets pissed and tries to bite me. It's funny, when he tries to bite he...
My other herps, aside from the panther, are all snakes. So just for kicks here's my entire collection (and I promise, there are NO mouse butts or any other mouse parts in here!)
Oskar, the blood python.
Gettin' ready to kill me.
Kitty, the super pastel ball python

I've never laughed so hard in my life over a thread. Especially the people who have "sampled" what their chameleon eats every day.
Thanks to everyone who has made me feel 10x better about being a wuss when it comes to feeding my cham!
Just to show how much I appreciate all the...
For Ghettomike:
1.0 means one male
0.1 means one female
0.0.1 means one baby, unknown sex.
so 2.4 would mean two males and four females.
1.0 Black Lab / Golden Retriever mix (Norton)
1.0 Golden Retriever (Beezer)
1.0 Cockatiel (Gurdie)
1.0 Panther Chameleon (GUNTHER)
1.0 Pied Ball Python...
I'm really loving all the responses I'm getting. (even the people that are calling me a pansy/baby/etc. :D )
And that is THE BEST IDEA EVER. I'm ordering one, like right now. Now I can pick up the superworms I drop!!!
I'm going to disagree with this comment. I think it really says how much I adore my cham that I'm terrified of all these bugs, but I'm still willing to deal with all of them to make sure he has a well balanced diet. Little bugger eats better than I do. :p
Ok, these two are kinda cute. :)...
Thanks so much to everyone who's making me feel like less of a wuss. The next time I reach for the tongs, tweezers, or spoon to handle Gunther's food I'm going to think of all the awesome people who are doing the same thing and have the guts to admit it on a public forum.
Although my favorite...
Noooooooo!!!! See, you all lied to me! And now I'm hooked.
I hope you can all live with yourselves.
These are all good ideas actually. I usually just throw the hornworms or put them on the lid of their cup. I've dropped hornworms millions of times when they get too close to me though.
I DIDN'T KNOW THEY PUKE TOO! Oh man, they just went up in freakiness. I don't think I can handle them anymore, 18" tongs or not.
. . . I don't know how he'd react to that. He's kind of spoiled. :o
Between the puking and this comment I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight.
:p
. . . I think I'd just pass out if a roach crawled up my arm. No screaming or flailing, just dead faint.
I use the 18" long feeding tongs I feed my pythons with to handle superworms.
I completely agree!!! The worst part is listening to them skitter around at night in their cups...
