I've never gone looking for them, but this summer's project is to find a wild female. A very good friend of mine has a pair that she caught herself. It took her 6 hours of looking to find one pair. So they're out there, just not common (plus they're tiny!)

I've wanted to raise a Jackson's for a while. So when I saw him at the reptile super show today I couldn't resist. He had a bit of red on his sides, it made him stand out from his siblings.
When it warms up a bit I plan on having this little guy live on my patio (in a cage of course). There are...

Some pictures of the little guy. I think he's coloring up nicely :)
Eventually I'll bring him outside for some nice pictures, but it's a little too cold right now.
Good luck with them!!! It's always so interesting to see how wild caughts turn out after a couple months TLC.
And if you decide to sell ambanja #2 put me first on the list! I really like him :)
Wow those Ambanjas and the first Nosy Be are stunning.
Just curious, are you selling all these guys eventually? Or setting up an awesome breeding colony?
My favorite holiday activity is viewing Christmas lights. I just do it a bit differently than most people. I believe my method allows me to cover more ground than most Christmas light viewers :p
And I'm sorry this post is so late! Busy busy holiday season kept me from sharing until after...
