I would say unless your in a really cold environment and you are an experienced cham owner i would say to def. go w/ an all screen cage or at least 2 sides plus the top. Also, that cage dimensions your giving are way too small for a one year old cham. P.S. Welcome to the forums!:D

In a glass enclosure it most definatly is! once your cham gets about five to six months old then you def. need to get an all screen cage at about 24x24x48 if you care about your chams health. Also you didn't answer me about the types of supplements your giving your cham when you dust the...

I think your refering to a Grow light which i use for my plants in addition to my UVB linear flourecent:D, and im pretty sure the grow light has no affect on my cham from what i can tell and if i used only that my cham would most definatly develop MBD:(
