ive been really bad determining whether one from my group is gravid. What i usually do now is just take them into a dark room and get a flash light and shine it onto one side of her... if u can see the light on the otherside then shes probably not gravid. if u cant see the light she could be...

the female has the potential to create fertile eggs as a male has the potential to fertilize those eggs. my guess is thaat the sperm fertilizes as many eggs as it can, and the cham has the ability just to hold onto the fertilized egg but not actually start...

one of them made his way out while i was in class and he managed to climb out of the little enclousure i had them in... i found him resting on a magazine which was cute... i didnt manage to take a picture of...
i checked on them around 12 today and noticed that 2 of my eggs seemed wet when the others looked fairly dry... i then moved them to a separate container, and they looked like they wer melting more than sweating around 1. around 2 or so they started trying 2 break through the shell and there...

hey i found a soldier fly in one of my pygmy tanks. Im assuming they wont cause any harm or will they? I dont know much about pheonix warms and soldier flies so i just wanna make sure if its safe to keep it in the cage and see if the pygmies will eat it or not
