If you still had the female you could have checked to see if she still had eggs. How long have you had her? was she WC? Do you have more than one in the enclosure? If she was CB and hasnt mated before then I wouldnt worry about checking for eggs. If you wanted to you can just leave any eggs in...

It still has not been determined whether pygmy chameleons actually use UVB. However, most people will tell you that they still use UVB lighting since it's what they get in nature and that it benefits the live plants in the enclosure. I use UVB tubes on my crew, but not on hatchlings.
