    Pothos Growth

I am no expert put usually when plants turn yellow it's because they are getting too much water (like everyone said above).. Brown means not enough. I had the same problem with my pothos. I put it outside for a week and water it less frequently, it bounced back to life. It may just need real...

    New cage, accessories, mister,PLANTS

I purchased mine from an Armstrongs nursery. You can call around where ever sells plants in your area like a home depot or where ever and ask if they stock umbrella plants ( easier name to remember) . If you can't find them try a larger ficus. A lot of times people give them away for free in...

    New cage, accessories, mister,PLANTS

LLL has great prices on vines although I'm not too sure on their shipping rates. I tried the pothos but it didn't quite work out so I moved on to a schefflera and my Cham loves it. I now have 2 in my enclosure which offers many branches and a ton of coverage plus it looks great :). Can't help...

Lemmy will be here tomorrow (my first)

Mine too used to run when I opened the door. Now he waits and sees what kinda of treat i have for him. As for the trip outside I don't think it will affect him too much whether in or out of the cage. I went to Home Depot spent $15 and bought a 4ft ficus just for his outside adventure. I...

    My first chameleon!!!!

Yeah kinda prego.. A female will lay eggs whether a male was involved or not. In that case you might want to read up on what she will need to do so. I suggest a small ficus (Home Depot has them for $15). My cham seems to love his.

    My first chameleon!!!!

Congrats on your new cham and welcome to your new addiction :) ! As Melrito suggested a possible lower cooler perch.. Just in case your cham wants to take cover in a cooler area.

Your set up looks great! I wish i had gone the home made route. Oh well.. Your cham is gorgeous, reminds me of my own. I see him eating small crickets, have you tried any type of worm yet? Once i started hand feeding my panther worms I felt more of a connection with him and could see a...

I got him from a close friend https://www.chameleonforums.com/members/kongchi/. He comes from a yellow background blue bar, and a red body blue bar Ambilobe.. I have not gone extreme into his lineage but i've read from his posts his Father (Sebastian) is from Salvador line (Todd M. Keller), and...

    2 months WOOHOO

Haha I remember when mine little guy was that small. Snap a photo once a week of him (or her) in the same location as a reference point (maybe perched on your index finger). You will see what a difference a week is. They grow so fast! Then you will have a great time line of both your cham...

    2 months WOOHOO

Well young John Stamos is officially 2 months as of today the 19th of August. I am very pleased with this young buck as of so far. John Stamos helps me get out of bed early in the morning (I'm a hand sprayer), he and I eat breakfast together (the same time not the same diet :)), I have a new...

What do you think so far!?

It looks great so far! Just a small suggestion and I'm not sure if you have already done so but, maybe get a small amount of extra mesh screen (Home Depot sells it for pretty cheap for a huge roll $6 or something) just to cover up the base of the plant. That way you don't have to worry...
