its because those gauges are terrible. go buy a digital one and it will solve your problem. Panther's require very precise temps so make sure you have them set before you get one.
what kind of lights are you using? You also need to get a live plant in there.
that coiled bulb will give your cham some serious eye problems. I would suggest ordering a reptisun 5.0 linear bulb. I would keep that coiled bulb off in the mean time.
I use a ficus and schefellera sp? is pretty common. along with golden pothos. If the cup thing doesnt work out then just free range your food. My cham refuses to cup feed and chams dont eat out of plastic containers in the wild.

It was a crane cool mist humidifier and I just elevated it next to the cage and the mist pumped right through the screen. Im almost positive that was my problem because I didnt have it on a timer.
