Thanks, I was under the impression that what was being said was "fish tanks are ok to be used in Europe but not North America, just because." Didn't realise they were talking about this specific design of enclosure. (the "euro style" you mentioned)
A bit off topic but related to the issue. I was just wondering if someone could explain the difference in using glass enclosures in Europe as apposed to using them in North America. I don't quite understand how/why it is "acceptable" in one place and not the other.
My 2 cents: That looks...
Vieleds are a very good idea I think, they are (using the word lightly) pretty easy to care for. read up on the link BocaJan posted it has all the information you will need. I got a vieled as my first cham and enjoy it so much im getting my second on monday! They are just awesome little creatures.
I currently have my vieled in one of those Flexariums (or whatever you call them). It seems to work fine for now. But as my cham gets closer to adulthood I will deffinatly be purchasing an aluminun screen cage from somewhere. (whoever ships to canada the cheapest :D)
I bought my first cham from a local petshop and she is doing great. I just recieved a new cage for her for christmas and am interested in purchasing a baby vieled to fill the old cage. I don't plan on breeding or anything, just want another cham to fill the old cage. Here's the catch, I live in...
That would be ideal for sure! but do you live in the area? I don't think there is any store that sells a variety of feeders near me. But I will deffinatly be considering buying from this site. Thanks for the help chameleoholic and sandrachameleon.
There was only one event I read about this year that made me more mad then this, and that was the beheading of the man on the Greyhound bus in Canada. This is just outrageous, how can you step over a person under a crowd and not think to help the guy up. People are just so stupid sometimes.
I am currently looking into purchasing my feeders from a website, and am just wondering if anyone out there knew of any sites I could check out that ship to Canada, or are located in Canada. Any help, once again, is much appreciated.
I live around Sarnia, Ontario and was wondering if there was any around that area. I heard there were a couple in London and Windsor but those are both at least an hours drive from where I am, so I was hoping to find something a little more local, probably should have specified that. Thanks for...
Just curious if anyone lives in or near south Western Ontario. I am just curious as to where a reptile specialist may be located in this area? I would like to know where one is ahead of time just in case we do encounter a problem that needs vet attention.
Just a question regarding the biting, what could it be compared to in terms on pain? Does it hurt at all, or is it kind of a little pinch?
P.S. - these videos clarified the handling process so much for me, thanks for taking the time to break it down for us.
Just an update, with the lighting changed and the temps brought down she is still spending time digging in the corners.
Also another question, I misted a couple hours ago and the leaves of the plants are still wet, I usually run the lights 9-9 and then turn them out. Should I not mist that...
Also I am already looking at replacing the glass enclosure as well as the plant life soon. I am just curious as to what type of live plants are recommended, are there any that are an absolute no?
