Winter
Yeah I have a 4 month old veiled chameleon too and I have noticed that his appetite has dropped a little. My NF panther is still eating normal just a little less active.
I was taking mine outside too, but now it's too cold. Mine seems to be a little less active then usual, but he's still eating drinking and his poop looks regular. JW...
Hello everyone, I have a rookie question. I'm in south Texas like 30 minutes south of Houston and it's been pretty cold here. It's been in the mid 30 low 40s through the night and warming up to just around 50 or so. My question is, does chameleons behavior change during the winter??
My wife is making potato salad, devil eggs. My mom is making the turkeys (big family), homemade stuffing and everything else. It's going to be crazy....! HAPPY THANKSGIVING GUYS!!!
Lol! Idk, I've heard of some people getting a warm water humidifier from like cvs or wal mart and rigging up some sort of PVC pipe leading up to the enclosure, they say it works, but I haven't seen it. I will look into it thou. Those humidifiers are less than 20 bucks and I have a bunch of PVC...

From what I have read, you give him calcium only at every feeding, calcium w/d3 once a week and multivitamin once or twice a month, you need to gutload his crickets as well. You also need to have a constant dripping water source over the leaves so he can drink from. As far as the tank, a...
Sounds like your doing good. Try offering him a treat when you approach him maybe a meal worm or a wax worm, that way he will be looking thrilled to see you. Just remember worms are only treats.
Never approach him from overhead, and let him see your every move. Try to let him climb on your hand on his own as opposed to forcing him. Hand feeding also has helped me out some. Be patient....!
Enclosure question
I tried a cup, water bottle, plastic Tupperware, no matter how I made the whole I just could not get the flow right. It was dripping too slow or squirting too fast, so I just went to petco and bought the little dripper for 10 bucks and problem solved...! I also have the exxo...
