I currently use the xl reptibreeze cages and have done amazing with them. My only niche would be to purchase some trellis for the sides to keep the chameleons off the mesh so they dont get their toes caught
These are what I use to allow my larger trees and plants to grow. It also gives a good solid base to create a lay bin for females without having to make something additional.
I used these in my XL reptibreeze setup for a long time. If you do get worried about drainage you can just put small pin holes in it and put a container underneath to catch excess
Just throwing it out there but it could be lighting of the cage. Your domes are very small and uvb hood isnt dispersion enough across the enclosure. Also when increasing their cage hes learning his new territory as well as new habits of where he needs to hunt for food. I would continue to feed...
