hi i just bought a new reptibreeze 60x60x120cm i have a 100watt heat lamp in a dome my problem is the hottest part of the enclosure is reaching 92f when the bottom is just reaching 69f. is that ok as seems a bit hot at the basking spot and a bit cool at the bottom. my panther cham seems happier...
would just like to say thankyou. the silkworms turned up today and he loves them scoffed 4 straight away.
i am just waiting on his new retibreeze which should be here today i bought the 60x60x120cm one hope that is ok.
I have had him for nearly 3 months but this last week he has gone off his food.he is now 6-7months old.
he is still very active comes out as soon as doors are opened, seems aleart and healthy.
he is in an exoterra at the moment large. Basking spot of 30-32c , live plants mist 3 times a day...
it is fine to use a growers mash just make sure its not medicated, always offer fresh fruit and veg too. many suppliers use cat and dog food which is far worse.
they imo are a great idea if you keep them clean, clean it every other day and once a month a complete strip down. i have used water falls in most of my vivs with no problems.
