He is a ambilobe. I got him from a breeder that is actually a sponser on this forum. Why wouldn't he have much color yet ?

Hello I'm a newbie. I just got my panther from a breeder last week. He told me he sold me a male but I'm unsure. He's four months old and doesnt have much color. Looks like he may have some red coming in now. Could someone please help me and tell me if he's for sure a he?
