That poor little guy!! I'm sure you can get him whipped into shape in no time! Good luck, and thanks for saving him! (Can't wait to see pics of him in a few months...) :D
Honestly, I really don't expect him to. I'll be surprised if he even answers the email. But I figured I might as well try. Won't make the same mistake again.
Exactly. When I got him home at looked closer I thought he seemed a little dehydrated, but I didn't realize how bad it was until people started commenting on the photos. :( And, as you said, that's just something that comes with experience. But even then, I thought he'd come around with some...

I am crushed.
He didn't make it. I guess it was a good thing I could sleep a wink tonight, because I was holding him at the very end. I just can't believe the sudden crash and how quickly he deteriorated afterward. :(
I just lost my little DaVinci. We only had 5 days together, but I loved him dearly. I am saddened and shocked at how quickly he went downhill, despite my best efforts to keep him going. I'll miss you, little man. :(
I would like to think that if you have a sturdy cage and don't leave the cham loose unattended with the cat around, you should probably be fine. But remember that they can and will break/rip screen if they want to.
I am lucky in that none of my cats are really interested in my little...
