In my experience hot, even scalding, water cools down a lot when its put into a mist through the air. I think the air would cool down the water a lot, so that it would be just warm. But you would have to test it, and then see what you think.

Correct me if i am wrong, the aquarium hood is trapping all the stale air in the tank. If you aren't going to be using the light like someone else suggested, it might help to take off the tank cover and replace it with some kind of screen so she can at least get a little ventilation.

I use a reptarium, and i like it perfectly well. A few people have suggested using a 10.0 UV instead of 5.0 so that the more light can get throught the mesh. I dont now if this is accurate but it makes sense.

I have also seen mine yawn. Does this mean he isn't getting enough sleep? Should my chameleon be getting more beauty sleep?

Yeah i have a dripper that drips on a diferent set of fake plastic plants that can hold water. Maybe it will just take some time before i actually see him. Does anybody have an answer to the coloring question, i always see vibrant green colors in the pictures
