Interesting.... A female can actually be spayed?!?!?! I would imagine this is very stressful on the cham. Is this an expensive procedure?

    Silkworms and Hornworms

She is only about 4-5 months old. Up until now, I have fed her crix, dubias and mealworms. I think I'll try feeding only silks and hornworms tomorrow. Maybe if I don't offer crix and only the worms she'll take them.

    Silkworms and Hornworms

I just received some silks and hornworms and am trying to offer to my female Panther. She seems very disinterested. However, I will offer a cricket and she immediately takes it from my hand. Is there anything I can do to get her to take the silks and horns? Thanks!

    Panther Chameleon needs new home

A few superworms a day is far too little food for this young cham. I feed my girl, who is about the same age as yours, about a dozen crickets and dubia roaches and 3-5 meal worms per day. She will sometimes even eat more. Of course my feeders are gutloaded and dusted with the appropriate...

Why are Chameleons harder than other reptiles?

All true statements from the members who chimed in with answers. I have only recently come back to keeping a cham. I had 4 of them, when I was married, about 10 years ago. But, I've noticed that there is much more knowledge available. There is much better equipment and cages, etc...

    I'm making the switch...

My Panther loves Dubia roaches. She will eat them right out of my hand. I feed her as many as he will eat until she walks away from me. She will usually stop after she's had about a dozen of them.

    Panther Chameleon needs new home

I'd take him if I were a bit closer, I'd be tempted to take him. Thanks for being so good about trying to do the right thing for this little animal. :)

    When to expect eggs

After discovering that the 'male' Ambanja Panther that I purchased is actually a female, when should I have an egg bin ready for her to deposit her eggs? She is about 4 months old now. Thank you.

    Male or female Panther?

This Ambanja Panther was sold to me as a male. I'm beginning to have my doubts. Can anyone confirm? Thank you.

    Tongue and sight issues

Hi Chameleon Forums! I'm new to the forum and I'm glad I found this great resource for information. Here's the issue(s): Approximately 4 month old male Ambanja Panther. I handle him very infrequently-maybe every other day or less. He feeds on crickets, Dubia roaches and mealworms. He...
