Shanksfaml, you are using the zilla fixture correct? But what is the actual bulb being used?
To everyone else, are reptisuns safe to use in zilla fixtures? i would imagine that they are.

Saw this at Lowe's. It was labeled as Golden Schefflera and looks just like a variegated arboricola, but just wanted to check because I was unable to locate a species on the label.

I've been lurking on these forums, for the better part of a year, and as such have learned from what a lot of you all have posted. I'm about a monthish away from getting a cham, and I'm starting to set everything up.

Ya, i was considering furcifer lat lat, but have so far been able to come across a wealth of information about their husbandry. Ontop of that, I understand they are relatively difficult to come by.
Just to clarify, why would where I live be an issue for pygmies? Also, would a carpet chameleon(furcifer lateralis correct?),or any other small true chameleon, be able to live in something such as an exo-terra and be good for a beginner?
